My Year is a company specializing in creative school, sport and day care photographs. Employing some of the most experienced staff in the industry, you can trust us to deliver unrivalled quality results. All our staff have “working with children“ certificates. We are market-leaders in our approach to school photography and have developed a fresh and exciting portfolio of picture styles. We believe this approach gives you a fresh alternative to traditional school portraits and parents receive stunning school photographs they will cherish.

Founded by Georgie Beck a professional international award winning photographer who saw the need for a fresh approach to school photography. When her own children started school and the school portraits came home, she was disappointed with the look, value and product range. Investigating other school photography companies she discovered that there was no one offering fresh, contemporary photographs for schools.

Georgie has photographed for all the major magazines around the world including Vogue, Vogue Entertaining, Vogue Living, Belle, Gourmet Traveller, American Gourmet, The Independent, Belle, House and Garden, Good Taste, Notebook, Women’s Weekly and the list goes on. She was one of the pioneers in the 1990’s of the new style ofphotographing food and in 2003 won The World’s Best Cookbook Photography Award. She has photographed many famous people for magazines including Jamie Oliver, Jamie Durie, Neil Perry, Geoff Janz, Julie Goodwin etc.

 Georgie brings professionalism and a love of photography and children to My Year and aims to change school photography in Australia to make it modern, fresh, and fun.
